Fifty Lab Music Festival 2023 edition will open with a master class by Mehdi Maïzi on Wednesday 15 November. 

What to expect? 

Join us in the Golden Space of the Beursschouwburg from 6pm with Mehdi, the leading journalist on French rap! Mehdi will discuss the future of mainstream rap and the return to the underground. 

Is this the end of the superstar rap era? How are the new niches breaking through the glass ceilings and overcoming the standardization of mainstream rap? What is the link between the new generations and alternative OG rap? These are some of the questions that will drive this hour-long event with Mehdi to launch the Fifty Lab Music Festival, one of whose primary aims is to support Belgian and international artists.
